challenge_

In a spirits landscape dominated by big brands and PE-backed start-ups, 13th Colony is a family-owned, craft distillery in South Georgia that needed to stand out from the crowd and educate bourbon drinkers about its points of differentiation: a contemplative and relaxed philosophy about life and the task at hand; and an ideal climate for aging strong cask strength and flavorful whiskeys.

solution_

‘Worth Drinking Slow’ is a creative brand refresh that leans into 13th Colony’s values of slowing down, savoring, getting a sense of perspective and enjoying a good laugh with friends, while communicating the exceptional quality and flavor of 13th Colony spirits.

We’ve paired this creative positioning with a growth-minded communications strategy,  new advertising campaign, and new website that’s  building awareness for the brand and its spirits across the company’s growing distribution footprint.  The brand’s introduction to new audiences via a targeted mobile, video and OOH campaign fuels trial, growth and fandom with like-minded whiskey enthusiasts across North America. 13th Colony also connects with current fans through innovative direct communications, distillery events, new merch and social content.
